| New models of our EcoLAB in-situ analyzer, the AutoLAB field analyzer and Aqua Monitor smart water sampler have been released. Each delivers new features and technical advances to make in-situ analysis and sampling easier and more reliable. Some exciting application are outlined in the articles below and full technical details are available from our website. |
| We have added the all
new
Aqua Sentinel multi-channel on-line analyzer system to our product
range. Designed for fixed in-take, effluent and process control
monitoring. Applications so far include aquaculture research, nutrient limitation experiments and petro-chem process monitoring. Designed for easy and cost effective continuous monitoring of nutrients and other dissolved chemicals Aqua Sentinel is capable of providing high-frequency data for extended periods in a very wide range of process-type applications. |

| A
new version of EcoLAB was developed for a borehole
deployable Geochemical Instrumentation Package for Sub Ice
Exploration (GIPSIE). Developed at Northern Illinois
University,
GIPSIE consists of a large array of oceanographic instrumentation and
sensors
that enable physical and geochemical characterization of marine and
freshwater
sub-glacial environments through in-situ measurements and water
sampling.
Parameters include nutrients (SiO4, NO3, PO4 and NH4) chlorophyll, CTD,
dissolved oxygen
and many others. The design challenge was to increase EcoLAB’s depth rating from 100 m to 4000 m and streamline it physically to fit through a 200 mm diameter borehole through the Antarctic ice. With necessity being the mother of invention great technical advances were made during the development of these custom systems that now benefit all our customers. The EcoLAB systems analyze nutrients in real-time during GIPSIE’s deployment and the array also includes a deep-rated Aqua Monitor water sampler subsequent lab analysis up to 48 individual or integrated samples. |

Problem Solving & Engineering Solutions: Probe Guard Anti-Fouling System
| We
have been helping Green Eyes,
LLC of A potentially revolutionary anti-fouling system is now emerging from Green Eyes. Probe Guard prevents the costly problem of biofouling on all types of electronic sensors and multi-probes. It works by enclosing sensors in a chamber that is treated with biocide, and then opened and flushed at a programmed sampling interval. Keeping sensors clean and functional for long periods dramatically reduces the huge impact service costs have on stretched monitoring budgets. More information about Probe Guard at: http://www.greeneyesobserving.com/probe.html EnviroTech has provided mechanical and electronic support for Green Eyes and many other customers in need of carefully engineered solutions. We are ready to help you too. |
